Description
Don't want to have to drive your car just to get to a good riding spot? Well here's a fun ride out to the Silver Comet trailhead that ventures through the hilly roads of Northwest Atlanta/Vinings. The many old bridges and creeks located along this end of the trail are what make the ride out there particularly rewarding. Not to mention, the ride fits nicely into a training regimen, as additional "Comet miles" can be tacked on at will.

Pretty good route

David, this is a pretty good route.
An alternative is heading out Marietta Blvd, stay on Marietta Rd, pass the Inman Rail Yard, turn right on Bolton Rd, left on Atlanta Rd, right on Log Cabin Dr, right back onto Atlanta Rd, and left at Cooper Lake Rd to the trailhead.
