Single Speed Bikes

In case you haven't noticed, there's been a single speed thing going on now for the last few years. People have been scouring thrift stores and yard sales hunting the the old ten speeds and converting them to single speeds. However, these bikes have gotten harder and harder to come by these days. Step in Raleigh.

Raleigh is a very cool company. The people that create the Raleigh bicycles actually ride them. So, it's no surprise that they're tuned-in to what's happening on the bicycle scene. They were one of the first companies to come out with a single speed. Now they have two. We carry them both.

Raleigh Rush Hour

$775

The Rush Hour features a steel frame and steel fork. It has a flip/flop rear hub so you can ride fixed or freewheel. The sealed cartridge wheel bearings are butter, and the front and rear brakes give you that added margin of safety you'll want when you're riding in traffic. As you can see, this is a very clean, simple, elegant bike.

Raleigh One Way

We offer The One Way for single speed commuting. Like the Rush Hour, it features a steel frame and fork, cartridge wheel bearings, and a fixed/free rear wheel. However, it's set up with fenders, cantilever type brakes, and comes with a pump. With the matching leather seat and handlebar tape, you've got one beautiful bike!
